Members of the Epping Forest Conservatives Patrons' Club were entertained by guest speaker Eric Pickles, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, along with MP Eleanor Laing at the Summer Champagne Reception on 21st June.
The event was hosted in Chigwell by Lesley and Nigel Wagland and members given a lively and amusing update and insight on events at Westminster from the Secretary of State, who is also our neighbouring MP for Brentwood & Ongar.
The Patrons’ Club is group within the Epping Forest Conservative Association that aims to hold two events each year similar to this, for like-minded people in this area to meet and network, and to raise much needed funds at the same time.
